What we collect, and why

• Your order list stays in your own browser (on your phone or computer) until you send or book it. We do not see it before that.
• When you create an account: your name, email, mobile number and password. The password is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form, so nobody at the shop can read it.
• When you book an order: the items and quantities, your name, mobile, email, pickup or delivery choice, address and note. We use these to call you, confirm rates and stock, and arrange pickup or delivery.
• When you sign up for a discount: your mobile number and whether you said you have ordered before. We use it for your discount (this Diwali and the ones after) and for order updates, nothing else.
• When you send your list on WhatsApp, it goes through WhatsApp, under WhatsApp's own terms.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your details to anyone.
• We do not take card or UPI payments on this website, so we never hold your payment details here.
• We do not use advertising trackers on this site.

Emails and messages

We email you a receipt when you book, a link when you ask to reset your password, and an update when your order's status changes. The shop is alerted on its own phone when an order or a discount sign-up arrives.

Your choices

You can change your name and mobile under Account on the shop. To have your account, orders or discount sign-up deleted, contact us using the details in the shop's Contact section and we will remove them, except where we must keep an order record for our accounts.

Terms for orders

• No online sale. Online sale of firecrackers through e-commerce websites is restricted by the Supreme Court's 2018 order. This website shows our products and builds your order list. An order is only made when we confirm it with you directly, by phone or WhatsApp.
• Rates. A price shown on the site is our rate when we last updated the list. Rates change through the season, so we confirm the rate for every line before anything is packed. Nothing is packed until you agree.
• Stock. Items can sell out in the Diwali rush. If something on your list is not available, we tell you when we call.
• Photos. Product photos are the makers' pack photos. Cards marked "Similar pack shown" show the same kind of item from another maker or in another size. Pack designs change from season to season.
• Pickup and delivery. Fireworks travel only by licensed transport, so delivery depends on where you are. We tell you the options when we confirm your order.
• Cancelling. You can cancel a booked order under My orders until we confirm it. After that, call or WhatsApp us.
• Local rules. Lighting times, and whether only green crackers are allowed, are set by your district. Please follow your district's notice.
